Gold Level Recognition for BT Sustainability Report

The 2020 sustainability report of Banca Transilvania obtained Gold Level Recognition following the Evaluation of Romania CST Index. This is the only ranking for performance and transparency from the perspective of corporate sustainability in Romania, calculated by The Azores Sustainability & CSR Services. In order to achieve this index, over 750 companies were analyzed.

Methodology Romania CST Index

Romania CST Index is an analysis that includes 10 categories and 70 indicators that address information on the sustainability strategy and the impact of companies from an economic, environmental and social point of view.

The evaluation, which takes into account all the public information of the companies for 2020, is aligned with international standards and references regarding sustainability and social responsibility, such as: the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Directive 2014/95/EU, GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI Standards), CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) etc.

It is the second recognition received by the bank for the sustainability report for 2020. It was chosen one of the best sustainability reports, an award announced at the Gala of the Association for Investor Relations on the Romanian Stock Exchange.

BT's Sustainability Report for 2021 will be public in March 2022.
