The largest multipurpose hall in Romania bears the Banca Transilvania brand: BTarena

The Polyvalent Hall in Cluj-Napoca will henceforth be called BTarena, based on the partnership between Banca Transilvania and Cluj-Napoca City Hall.
BT is the largest financial group in Romania, one of the most powerful Romanian brands (BIZ 2018) and the most valuable banking brand in the country (Brand Finance 2017). The bank's involvement in the life of the Cluj community means supporting projects such as the U-BT Basketball Club and the U-Banca Transilvania men's basketball team; FC Universitatea Cluj 1919 - the alliance of FC Universitatea Cluj (football) and the Association Clubul Sportiv U-BT (basketball); Eurobasket 2017; European Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2017; Napoca Rally Academy; BT Tennis Cup; Sports Festival; BT cross; Clujul Pedaleaza; EMBA University of Hull - 100% British business school; Clujul Are Suflet Foundation; BT Club; volunteering actions for afforestation; but also partnerships with Untold and Electric Castle. 2 out of 3 Cluj residents work with Banca Transilvania.
On the other hand, the Polyvalent Hall is a magnet for the great sports and artistic events in Romania. In just four years, the multifunctional hall of 10,000 seats hosted sports events such as Eurobasket 2017, the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2017, the European Table Tennis Championship - youth and juniors 2018, FedCup and Davis Cup matches, parties of the Romanian national handball and basketball teams, championship games and european cups of the U-Banca Transilvania men's basketball team. Regarding the artistic events, sting, Julio Iglesias, Jose Carreras, James Blunt, Eros Ramazzotti, Lara Fabian, Alphaville, Modern Talking, Dire Straits, Smokie performed in the Polyvalent Hall. Also here are held, every year, dozens of untold festival shows, fairs, corporate events and conferences. At the beginning of 2018, the Polyvalent Hall awarded the spectator with the number 2,000,000 who crossed his threshold.
BTarena is owned by cluj-napoca city hall.
