BT, awarded for its positive impact in society

Banca Transilvania received the recognition of the positive and sustainable impact in the community during the Sustainability Gala, through the award Targets achieved within the Sustainable Cities and Communities objective. Organized by Intact Media Group in Bucharest, the event awarded people, companies and NGOs that make Romania better and aligned to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) assumed by the UN through the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

What the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development means

• The 17 Sustainable Development Goals, assumed by our country together with the over 190 UN member states in 2015, cover a wide range of topics that mobilize global action on 3 main sustainable development areas: economy, society and environment.
• By 2030, the countries of the world have committed to eliminating poverty and hunger, combating inequalities and injustice, and adopting measures to protect the environment.

Recently, Banca Transilvania obtained a very good ESG Risk Rating (17) and is classified in the Low Risk category following sustainalytics analysis in terms of ESG initiatives and performance.
