Banca Transilvania, an early adopter of artificial intelligence in banking, is working with Microsoft to integrate Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot into employees' work, AI assistants that accelerate new habits in their daily work and increase efficiency in the software development area.

• Microsoft 365 Copilot means a different experience for people using the Microsoft 365 suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. It has the ability to synthesise information, generate text, presentations or images, and analyse data. It is integrated in both desktop and mobile versions.
  
  
• GitHub Copilot helps increase efficiency and quality in the software development area of the BT team, with the ability to write code by simply defining specifications.

AI Search, integrated into the Întreb BT platform in 2023

Also through collaboration with Microsoft, Banca Transilvania launched in October 2023 the AI Search functionality in the Întreb BT platform, based on the Azure OpenAI Service solution. Întreb BT is an online platform, designed as a search engine, with over 2,000 questions and answers about banking. The integration of artificial intelligence has increased accessibility to information about self-banking products, services and solutions. Nearly 55,000 unique visitors used the AI Search feature on Question BT more than 200,000 times over four months (October 2023 - February 2024).
