Romania's growth prospects

• Romania still has a lot of room for growth and development, both to close the gap with the West and because of our strengths and context. 
• We have several key advantages, such as the country's size and younger population than in other countries, the quality of human capital, but also the diversity of natural resources. 
• For these reasons, I am confident about our chances and potential in the medium and long term, even if we face multiple internal and external challenges in the immediate period ahead.

Reasons for confidence in Romania and Banca Transilvania's development 

• Although I am cautiously optimistic, I have more than five reasons to remain confident in the development of the local market. 
• Thanks to our European integration, Romania will be an increasingly important player in the region. 
• Another reason is the development of infrastructure and access to EU funds, which is essential for the modernization of the country. 
• We boast a highly skilled workforce in areas such as IT, medicine, engineering and finance. 
• I would also refer to energy resources and the diversification of economic sectors, from agriculture to the automotive industry.
• As for Banca Transilvania, we started the year with a good base, prepared from previous years, coming with organic growth and influenced by acquisitions. 
• We will be helped by our focus on customers, including those in the diaspora, as well as the vertical and horizontal integration we have at financial group level - we have all the essential business lines, a very large network of units and self-banking solutions, and companies in areas complementary to banking.
