Banca Transilvania and Simona Halep Foundation donate 50,000 euros to SOS Children's Villages

● BT doubles every donation made until December 21st ●

Banca Transilvania and Simona Halep Foundation join the company Help the children most affected by the pandemic, initiated by SOS Satele Copiilor Romania, through a donation of 50,000 euros. In addition, the bank will double each donation made to SOS Children's Villages until December 21.c. through the bank's website or through the BT Pay application.

The left money will be used for food, clothing, hygiene products, urgent repairs, etc. - for 450 children from vulnerable communities, from SOS Children's Villages programs. The involvement of BT and simona halep foundation is another way to inspire and mobilize people to help children.

According to SOS Children's Villages data, in Romania over 700,000 children live in extreme poverty in rural areas and are part of large families, without access to running water and heat. In this context, the need for involvement is extremely high.

In September .c a similar campaign was carried out, Equip your child to go to the school even if it is not yours, by Banca Transilvania and Save the Children Romania Organization. They were raised then, also with the help of the Romanians, by BT donation and by doubling the donations by the bank, almost 120,000 euros that help 1,200 children from needy families to be able to learn.
