Banca Transilvania brand value increased by 34%

Banca Transilvania maintains its third position among the most valuable Romanian brands, with a significant increase of 34% compared to the previous year, reaching EUR 856 million.

The Brand Finance Romania 50 analysis was carried out by Brand Finance, the UK's leading standardizer of brand valuation.

Brand value refers to the net economic benefit that a brand owner would gain by licensing the brand on the open market.

The five most valuable Romanian brands in 2025 are the following and represent more than half of the total value of those in Brand Finance Romania 50:

  • Dacia
  • eMAG
  • Banca Transilvania
  • DIGI
  • Dedeman

The brands launched in the last 35 years represent more than 70% of the brands and 60% of the total value of the ranking of the most valuable Romanian brands.

Every year, Brand Finance analyzes 6,000 of the world's biggest brands and publishes over a hundred analyses, two examples being Brand Finance Romania 50 and Brand Finance Banking 500.
