BT services that will not operate or will operate intermittently on the nights of 22/23 and 23/24 January

Banca Transilvania is testing its IT systems from 22 to 24 January, and on the nights of 22/23 January and 23/24 January, for approximately three hours/night, from 00.00 to 03.00:

• BT24 and NeoBT will not work;
• Cards and BT Pay will work intermittently.

The bank has chosen to carry out the tests at night and during a period of non-working days, when the number of transactions is lower, so as to minimise customer inconvenience.

Such testing of IT systems is mandatory in banking and must be carried out annually. It differs from maintenances, which take place several times a year and are IT upgrades required to maintain and improve BT's hardware and software infrastructure. Both, however, are related to IT operational performance, safety and security of customer data and money.
