Banca Transilvania provides the following details to clarify the information that appeared in several online publications on March 15 and 16, 2025, regarding the change in fees for cash withdrawals:

• BT has not changed the fees for cash withdrawals from its own or other banks' ATMs.
  
  
• There is zero fee for withdrawing cash from BT ATMs (over 2,000 across the country) with BT debit cards that have the highest number of users. One example is BT Visa Classic, the most widely used debit card in Romania.
  
  
• The BT fee of 0.5% (+2.5 lei), mentioned in some articles, is for cash withdrawals with the BT Visa Classic card from other banks' ATMs in Romania/abroad, not from BT ATMs.
