BT finances the largest urban regeneration project in Bucharest, Nusco City

Banca Transilvania and Nusco have signed a €64.4 million financing agreement for the development and completion of the second phase of Nusco City, the largest urban regeneration project in Bucharest.

The second phase of the Nusco City project comprises seven buildings with over 800 apartments. The first three blocks - previously financed through the Nusco - OTP Bank Romania partnership - will be available later this year, while the next four buildings - developed through BT financing - will be completed in the first half of 2026. The total investment in this second phase of the project amounts to over €130 million.

On an area of 23 hectares, on the site of the former Pipera platform, Nusco City will mean a total of more than 4,000 apartments, parks, green areas, which will cover about 40% of the entire project area, along with educational institutions, a hospital, a hotel, shopping and office areas.
