1 million BT Chat interactions in BT Pay

Just a few months after Banca Transilvania announced the integration of artificial intelligence in BT Pay (January 2025), Banca Transilvania's banking and lifestyle app has recorded over 1 million customer interactions through the AI-powered Chat BT.

- People's desire and need to have access to simple, fast, always available solutions;
- Banking is becoming increasingly conversational;
- The growing influence of artificial intelligence in everyday life, especially in the customer-bank and app-user relationship, where speed of response is essential.
Instant response banking
Through BT Chat, customers receive instant information about BT Pay options, as well as about Banca Transilvania's products and services, in Romanian, English, Italian or Hungarian. In addition, they can continue their chat with a member of the bank's team.
BT, early adopter
Banca Transilvania is the first banking institution in Romania to integrate artificial intelligence (Robotic Process Automation - RPA and Large Language Model - LLM) in its communication with customers, services and processes, starting with 2017.
