BT Capital Partners, a member company of Banca Transilvania Financial Group, assisted the Swiss company MET Group in the acquisition of the Romanian operations of Repower, which supplies electricity to end consumers and provides energy consulting services. MET Group specialises in trading energy, gas and oil products, with operations in Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK.

The operational completion of the transaction confirms BT Capital Partners' ability to complete cross-border buyout transactions in highly complex areas.
