250,000 BT Pay customers save with Round Up. Interest rate: 4%/year

250,000 people who use BT Pay save through the Round Up option in the app. 8 out of 10 people who have savings accounts with Banca Transilvania use Round Up as well.

With over 12,000 customers activating Round Up every month, it is one of the most accessed features of BT Pay and it means:  

• savings on every payment made at the POS or online with one of BT's debit cards, digital or physical, with interest of 4%/year;
  
  
• automatic rounding of each payment made with one of the BT debit cards up to the selected multiple (1 leu, 5 lei or 10 lei), which can be changed at any time. For example,if the rounding threshold is 10 lei, for a payment of 3.5 lei, the round up is 6.5 lei.
  
  
• automatic transfer of the difference from the rounded amount from the current account in lei to the Round Up savings account;
  
  
• access at any time to the money saved by transfer to one of the current accounts at Banca Transilvania;
  
  
• the possibility to check in the BT Pay app the amount saved through Round Up and the transaction history.

Most BT customers with Round Up are aged 27-42 (37%), 18-26 (34%) and 14-17 (20%).

The Round Up option is activated from BT Pay: Card settings/Activate Round Up.
