Daniela Secară, CEO of BT Capital Partners, told the following to the publication Hotnews.ro, regarding the listing of minority stakes in state-owned companies for fiscal consolidation:

"The Bucharest Stock Exchange and the international markets, especially those in Europe, are going through a favorable moment and are recording levels around historical highs, including in the context of the redirection of part of the cash flows from the U.S. to Europe. In this context, but also taking into account the consistent financing needs of Romania in 2025 and 2026, the listing of additional quotas of the shares of state-owned companies present on the BVB would bring immediate benefits both on public finances and investors' perception of Romania, as well as on the governance and results of the listed companies. The financial markets are going through a good period and it is good that Romania is planning to capitalize on this favorable moment."
