Leontin Toderici has received the approval of the National Bank of Romania for the position of General Director - CEO of Bancpost. He is mandated by Banca Transilvania to coordinate the integration of Bancpost, ERB Retail Services IFN and ERB Leasing IFN into the BT Financial Group.

With over 20 years of experience in banking, Leontin Toderici has been Deputy General Manager - Chief Operations Officer at BT since 2013. Over the years, he has coordinated strategically important projects for Banca Transilvania Financial Group, two of which are world firsts: the replacement of BT core-banking with Oracle Flexcube solution with Exadata and Exalogic technology as technical platform, and the launch of Western Union ATM money transfer service. He holds a PhD in economic informatics and graduated from EMBA CNAM Paris - ASE Bucharest. He completed the Faculty of Automation and Computers at the Technical University, as well as the Faculty of Economic Sciences at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.

Banca Transilvania became in April this year the owner of the majority stake (99.15%) held by Eurobank Group in Bancpost, respectively of the shares held in ERB Retail Services IFN and ERB Leasing IFN.
