BT Direct – part of banca transilvania financial group – and ERB Retail Services – a company acquired by BT together with Bancpost, in April this year – are in the middle of the integration phase. The two non-banking institutions dedicated to granting consumer loans will merge in the first part of 2019.
The main objective of the new BT Direct is to become the romanians' preferred consumer finance institution through quality, modern services, through convenient financing solutions offered to customers, respectively through sustainable partnerships.
With a portfolio of 250,000 EuroLine credit cards, ERB Retail Services now has a market share of 8.7% and 1,200 partner stores.
"ERB Retail Services and BT Direct have together all the ingredients to become the consumer finance institution preferred by Romanians. We have the support of Banca Transilvania Financial Group, a complete mix of products for our customers now and for the future ones, the expertise of one of the first NBFIs on the market, but also the enthusiasm, professionalism and determination of a team involved." – says Ana Popescu, Executive Director for Individuals Bancpost, proposed for the position of General Manager of the new entity.
The integration is in full swing and takes place on several levels - legal, products & services, respectively human resources - with the involvement of BT Direct and ERB Retail Services teams. Among the priorities so far has been the unification of the sales teams of the two subsidiaries, which now includes over 100 people with common responsibilities and activities, in line with the main objective set for the new BT Direct.
