The first conversion contract within the Banca Transilvaia – Bancpost offer, intended for Bancpost clients with loans in Swiss francs with real estate guarantees, was signed today.

In the first two weeks of the campaign, there were 1,025 meetings between the Mixed Bancpost - BT teams and Bancpost clients, which means about 85 meetings/day in the over 70 Bancpost offices included in the campaign.

32% of the clients accepted the offer to convert the loans from CHF into euro or lei, the next stage being the signing of the documents. The campaign continues until August 31st this year.

Banca Transilvania and Bancpost launched at the beginning of July this year an offer dedicated to Bancpost's clients who have loans in Swiss francs with real estate guarantees. In a first stage, the nearly 2,250 Bancpost customers eligible for the offer were contacted by phone and invited to a meeting at one of the Bancpost units included in the campaign to find out the details of the offer. After meeting with the Bancpost – BT team, customers have 15 days to decide on accepting the conversion, after which a new appointment is required, also at Bancpost, to sign the related documentation.

The offer means for Bancpost's clients with loans in Swiss francs with real estate guarantees a discount of 18%, applied to the current balance, minus any outstanding payment obligations and the calculated amounts due by the client and not due.
