Sustainable Finance Framework
The way we think today for generations to come
In 2023, we developed and published our first Sustainable Finance Framework, which enabled us to issue sustainable financial instruments to invest in and refinance projects that facilitate the transition to a low-carbon and climate-resilient economy and/or have a positive social impact and alleviate social problems.
As a dedicated Financial Group, we are focused on fostering sustainable practices within the industries and areas where we are active. Through the issuance of sustainable finance instruments, we aim to offer additional transparency on the funded projects that have environmental and social benefits.

Allocation and Impact Reports
A new milestone echoing our commitment to deliver a positive economic, environmental and social impact. Through this report we provide an in-depth summary of funds raised through our Sustainable Finance Framework, while through the second report we deliver the assessment of Banca Transilvania's loans to MSMEs, including Gross Value Added and jobs created or maintained.
First ESG Bond Issue
November 2023 marked the launch of our first sustainable bond issue, which successfully attracted €500 million. The sustainable bond issue, with a social and a green component, was listed on the Dublin Stock Exchange. Further information and the full prospect can be found in our EMTN 2023 section.
