Banca Transilvania Financial Group invests in Ebriza, a start-up that digitizes business administration

Banca Transilvania Financial Group, through BT Investments, is the main investor in a financing round of 300,000 euros launched by Ebriza. BT is making this investment to support entrepreneurs, who can better manage their business thanks to the software developed by Ebriza. Along with Banca Transilvania are also investing Risky Business, the acceleration fund in Cluj, Marcelus Suciu, the founder of Marty Restaurants and Dan Isai, the founder of Salad Box.

This investment round evaluates the Romanian startup founded by Cristian Dinescu and Alexandru Mares at 1.5 million euros a year after their first round of investments and the entry into the Risky Business accelerator, when Ebriza was valued at half a million euros.

Ebriza totally transforms what the cash register means now, the sales and management software: they will be accessed online, non-stop, from any device, following in real time the company's activity, stocks and sales. Also, Ebriza integrates horeca, retail or service businesses with their suppliers or service providers, ordering or reservation applications through a marketplace open to any developers.  

With this investment, the BT Group is taking another step in terms of fintechs: in 2017 it joined the shareholding of Timesafe, the developer of Pago, an application designed to manage and pay utility bills, and in March this year Banca Transilvania announced the collaboration with Personetics, a market leader in cognitive banking solutions, with which it will integrate artificial intelligence into the BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking application, this year.

We want to offer free of charge to merchants the POS sales software - issuance of tax receipts - directly on the tablet or on the phone with access to a wireless fiscal printer and to focus on the adjacent services in the marketplace, the trader having to pay only for the latter". 

Ebriza is one of the finalist startups from Startup Avalanche, the annual competition organized in Cluj-Napoca by Techsylvania and Risky Business. It was part of the first start-up acceleration program of Risky Business Cluj. The software already works at over 100 merchants in Romania and abroad.

With this infusion of capital, Ebriza will be able to channel its efforts towards the development of its own marketplace, which will give the opportunity to any business to instantly connect its sales and management software with the suppliers of products and services.
