Three Banca Transilvania Group companies, performers on the capital market in 2023

Banca Transilvania, BT Asset Management and BT Capital Partners received recognition for their performance in the capital market in 2023 at the BVB Awards event organised by the Bucharest Stock Exchange on 29 February.

The BVB Awards take place at the beginning of each year and bring to the community interested in the capital market the results recorded by companies, investment and pension managers, etc., participating in the Romanian capital market.

Awards received by Banca Transilvania Group :

• Banca Transilvania - Best communication with journalists by an issuer in 2023. Financial Press Award
• BT Asset Management - Best performing local investment fund in 2023
• BT Capital Partners - Most active bond intermediary in 2023

BT Group was represented by Dan Dascăl - Managing Director, BT Asset Management, Daniela Secară - Managing Director, BT Capital Partners, Diana Mazurchievici - ESG and Investor Relations Director, Laura Petrehuș - Deputy Director, BT Capital Partners, and Laura Petrehuș - Deputy Director, BT Asset Management. Communication & PR, Banca Transilvania and Sergiu Mircea - Executive Director Marketing & Communication, Banca Transilvania.

According to data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the year 2023 meant:

• the capitalisation of listed companies exceeded the 300 billion lei threshold for the first time in 2023;
• the total trading value recorded on all markets, with all types of financial instruments, exceeded RON 38 billion (+58% compared to 2022);
• Average daily liquidity on all types of listed instruments on both markets reached 153 million lei (+60% compared to 2022);
• the main BET index climbed 32%;
• A record €5.5 billion was raised through 34 share and bond listings;
• the number of investors which reached (at the end of September) almost 170,000.
