Banca Transilvania has been included in the Superbrands Romania 2026–2027 selection, an international program that recognizes brands valued for their trustworthiness, relevance, and ability to create long-term value.

A Superbrand is one that is consistently chosen because of the trust it inspires, its relevance, and its ability to create value beyond functional benefits. At the same time, it is a brand that offers significant reasons and advantages over the competition—ones that customers want, recognize, and love.

The 2026–2027 Consumer Superbrands evaluation was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, the 30 members of the Superbrands Honorary Council evaluated over 1,900 brands across 61 categories, based on the criteria of reputation, trust, quality, and market differentiation. The resulting list was subsequently analyzed through a survey of 1,500 urban consumers.

Top 20 Superbrands Romania

Of the several hundred brands evaluated, the top 20 deemed eligible for Superbrand status are as follows: Dedeman, Uber, Strongbow, eMAG, Netflix, Glovo, Samsung, Bolt, Dr. Max, Apple, Banca Transilvania, OMV, Borsec, Regina Maria Healthcare Network, Sameday, Pampers, Lidl, FAN Courier, IKEA, and Coca-Cola.

The selection process is one stage of the Superbrands Romania 2026–2027 program. The program will continue with the presentation of the brands’ stories in the Superbrands Romania Book and with the Superbrands Gala, which will take place in 2027.
