Banca Transilvania welcomed a special guest today in Cluj-Napoca: Nadia Comăneci. During her meeting with BT, she spoke about performance, discipline, the pressure to be perfect, and the lessons that endure beyond the podium.

Nadia Comăneci is currently in Cluj-Napoca to take part in two of the year’s most important cultural and sporting events:

• TIFF – Transylvania International Film Festival (June 12–21, 2026);
  
  
• Sports Festival (June 11–14, 2026), where he will lead a masterclass on performance in sports (June 14, 1:00 p.m., BT Arena).

Both festivals are sponsored by Banca Transilvania, a partner in initiatives that bring together the community, inspiration, talent, and excellence.

Nadia Comăneci is also a brand ambassador for BT.  

Sometimes it takes just a few seconds to change a life. 17 seconds. That’s how long the routine that changed my life and the history of world gymnastics lasted. But behind those 17 seconds lay millions of seconds of training. For me, sport meant more than that first perfect 10, more than the medals I won. It was about discipline, courage, and the desire to become better every day.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the first perfect 10 in the history of Olympic gymnastics. Thanks to Nadia Comăneci, the 1976 Montreal Olympics have gone down in history, becoming a benchmark for generations to come because she rewrote the rules and raised the bar forever.
