The functionality to apply for a BT Mic loan through the Raul chatbot can now be accessed by all entrepreneurs, even if they are not customers of Banca Transilvania.

The electronic signature of the documentation required to start the evaluation of a loan application is free of charge.

15% of the microfinance company's business in 2021 was generated through the Raul chatbot.

Features of BT's Raul chatbot:

• Electronic signature of documents for the evaluation of a loan application: credit application, agreement to consult the database of the Credit Risk Centre and information on the processing of personal data in the Credit Bureau system;
• Upload financial documents;
• Credit simulations based on the amount that can be paid monthly.

Entrepreneurs who do not have an account with BT are identified through a video call, at which stage they can benefit from the advice of a dedicated BT Mic team with experience in financing.

In the first year since the launch of the Raul chatbot, over 15,000 entrepreneurs have interacted with it and over 1,000 businesses have been financed.

BT Mic is aimed at companies with an annual turnover of up to 1 million lei. In its five years of activity, the microfinance company has supported over 18,000 microenterprises, which have generated over 20,000 jobs.
