Companies offering meal vouchers to employees can order the BT Meal Card online
Banca Transilvania takes another step to contribute to increasing digitization by launching online platform BT Tichetwhere companies can order online BT meal cards, to replace printed meal vouchers.
The first step for a company that wants meal cards for employees is to sign an agreement with Banca Transilvania. Subsequently, the company will have access to the BT Tichet web application through which it opts online for the issuance of BT Meal Cards, with delivery to its own offices, by courier, requests the re-issuance of BT Meal Cards or PINs, respectively accesses the invoices for transfers of vouchers made on these cards.
The meal card is intended for buying food and paying for consumption at grocery stores and restaurants in Romania. It can be obtained exclusively through the employer if they are among the institutions that offer meal vouchers to employees as an extra-salary benefit, regardless of whether or not the employees are BT customers. In addition to the physical card, customers can also have a digital version of it by registering in the BT Pay or Apple Pay for phone payments, checking transactions and verifying card amounts.
For individual customers, Banca Transilvania has a complete solution: the salary card (BT Visa Classic debit card) and the meal card in physical or digital format, by enrolling in BT Pay.
What the BT Tichet platform means for employers:

What the Meal Card means for customers:

- Flexibility when shopping because the value of your purchases does not depend on the value of a classic meal voucher;
- Possibility of online card management via the BT Pay: blocking or unblocking cards in case of loss or theft, viewing the available balance on the card and the history of transactions made with the card, as well as changing transaction limits;
- Because it is a meal card, money cannot be withdrawn or transferred. The card cannot be loaded with other amounts;
