When she joined BT, in the summer of 2015, her colleagues called her Mihaela, but there was a small problem: her colleague had the same name, and when customers called (they were in the same office, they had a common phone) they said: "I want to talk to Mihaela". Well, which one? To end the confusion and babbling, Mihaela started introducing herself as Alexandra.

In the meantime (we'll be back with the details in a moment) he moved to another branch and became Client Relationship Manager on SME, and colleagues there put their hands on their hips, tilted their heads to one side with an analytical look, paused for a moment and said something like: "You know what, Radule? An important factor in this success is also the fact that for her the working day has no schedule, and that's because she loves what she does, she doesn't look at the clock and she doesn't end her day at half past 5, but only when she knows for sure that she has ticked off everything on her To Do list.

In terms of the clients she communicates with on a daily basis, her priority is to:

"I explain and try to be honest with them. There are clients who come to me and don't tell me what credit they want, they say - Look, these are my plans, tell me what credit suits me - and they go on trust, because they have only gained so far from our advice, they have appreciated our honesty, mine and my colleagues, and things have gone very well for them afterwards (...)".

In fact, the discussion she has with a new person, who is not yet one of her clients, is also based on frank discussions: "When the client comes to the bank, he wants to know about operations, he wants to know how to communicate, if he has an RM (customer relationship manager) assigned to him, if he can rely on us. That's why he comes to the bank and that's why we are the RMs: to provide support, information, documents, whatever - and that's where the discussion starts. We try to get as much information as possible about the business, how it works and what the client needs."


Her free time from Monday to Friday doesn't allow her to do much, but she saves her weekends for going home to her parents in Slatina, walks in IOR park, which is her favourite, and meetings with close friends. Sundays are the most relaxing, because she starts them with a steaming cup of coffee and ends them relaxed and 100% ready for a new week.

Somewhere during the days she allows her dreams to wander through her mind, she reminds herself how much she would enjoy going on a hike in the mountains, to the fresh air and green grass, and that at some point she would even like to get an owl as a pet. Yes, Alexandra loves owls! They have a charm of their own: they are wise, mysterious and very self-assured - just like our Alexandra!
