Banca Transilvania offers, until December 31st.c., the personal loan in RON, with life insurance and unemployment, with fixed interest, starting from 8.4% per year – for people who receive income in BT account, respectively 8.9% per year for those who do not have income at Banca Transilvania.

Details about the BT loan:

• An amount of up to EUR 20,000 (equivalent in RON) can be borrowed
• Minimum amount: 5,000 lei
• Loan period: minimum 2 months and maximum 5 years
• Preferential costs for the refinancing at BT of consumer loans from other banks
• Includes a life and unemployment insurance

The conditions for obtaining such a loan are the following:

• Permanent income
• No arrears on other loans 
• Romanian citizenship
• The age of maximum 65 years at the end of the credit period or a maximum of 70 years, if the income is from pensions.

For example, for a loan worth 46,500 lei, with fixed interest for the entire loan period (8.4% p.a.), taken for a period of 5 years:

• The monthly installment is 951.78 lei
• The number of installments is 60
• The APR (Effective Annual Interest Rate) is 10.05%
• The total cost of the loan is 11,908.72 lei, and the total value to be paid is 58,408.72 lei
• The cost of insurance, included in the total cost of the loan, is 1,302 lei
• The analysis fee is zero, the one-off fee for the services requested at the client's request is 50 lei, and the AEGRM fee is 65.70 lei.
• The early repayment fee for loans with fixed interest is 0.5% of the refunded amount, if the repayment is made less than 12 months before the final due date and 1% of the amount reimbursed, in other situations.
