My pension from BT Pensions, the optional pension fund with zero commission from contributions

BT Pensii, a company of the Banca Transilvania Group that manages the optional pension fund My Pension, announces a new benefit, zero commission from contributions. At the level of the optional pension funds market, the commission is up to 5% of the contribution, a percentage established by the legal framework. BT Pensions comes with this benefit to encourage savings and to support a more sustainable future in Romania.

The company BT Pensii is coordinated by Corina Cojocaru, General Manager and has assets of 129 million lei.

What does my Pension from BT Pensions mean:

  • Additional income: is an accumulation fund that a person can benefit from after the age of 60;
  • Flexibility: the monthly contribution can be modified at any time or can be suspended for a period, with the possibility of resumption. The minimum value is 60 lei/month, and the maximum is 15% of the gross monthly income;
  • Tax facility: both the personal contribution and the one offered by the employer is tax deductible up to the equivalent in lei of 400 euros / year;
  • Easy money management: payment is made directly from the current account or by the employer. Also, customers have access to online tools, such as the Online Account on the BT Pensions website, where they can also check the accumulated amount, respectively the Budget Calculator.
  • A more sustainable future.

The optional pension completes the public pension system and the compulsory private pension, meaning money accumulated for a future pension. In Romania, the average public pension is 54.4% of the average net salary, namely 1,772 lei, according to the National Institute of Statistics (March 2022). The average age of the population is 42 years, and the segment 50-54 years old has the largest share of the total (8.9%), according to the same source (January 2022).
