BT Capital Partners assisted ROMGAZ in the process of listing a bond issue worth over €500 million on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Societatea Națională de Gaze Naturale ROMGAZ S.A., Romania's largest producer and main supplier of natural gas, a company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange for 12 years (SNG), is listing its second bond issue on the Regulated Market of the Stock Exchange. The bonds are listed on the BSE under the ticker symbol SNG31E and have a maturity of 6 years. The funds raised will be used to develop the national strategic project, Neptun Deep in the Black Sea, which has the potential to transform Romania into the second largest natural gas producer in the European Union.

In addition to robust financial results, share price appreciation, and stable ratings issued by specialized agencies, the recurrence of financial instrument issuance is one of the main mechanisms through which an issuer can reconfirm its positive performance on the capital market. With another successful bond issue, with an increasing maturity, a high degree of oversubscription, and offering both attractive and declining yields compared to the previous year, ROMGAZ and the consortium, of which we are proud to be a part, have managed to mark another important milestone on this journey.
