BT Capital Partners assisted Eurolines Group in a historic transaction for Romanian tourism

● The transaction marks the entry on the local market of the world's first major strategic tour operator ●

 BT Capital Partners, the investment banking and capital markets division of Banca Transilvania Financial Group and an exclusive member in Romania of the Oaklins international alliance, assisted the Eurolines Group in the largest exit transaction in Romanian tourism.

Within the transaction, Dragos Anastasiu, one of the pioneers of Romanian entrepreneurship, was assisted by the BT Capital Partners team in the sale of the Eurolines Group's tourism operations to Der Touristik Group, the tourism division of the German group Rewe, a historical transaction for Romanian tourism, marking the entry on the local market of the first major global strategic tour operator. The project team included Nina Pirvu, Investment Banking & Capital Markets Director, Dragos Darabut, manager and Bogdan Baldovin, analyst.
