Banca Transilvania launches a new communication channel for entrepreneurs: the Raul Robot

The micro-company, SME and Corporate clients of Banca Transilvania have at their disposal, starting today, a new way to interact online with the bank, through the Raul Robot. They can find out non-stop, through Facebook Messenger and Skype, information about the accounts, products and services they have at BT. Banca Transilvania thus facilitates customers' access to information in real time.  


Banca Transilvania has 250,000 corporate clients, and a third of the companies founded in 2017 chose to collaborate with Banca Transilvania.


The Raul robot offers entrepreneurs details such as: the IBAN and the current account balance in LEI or other currencies; payment amounts related to credit cards; details about installments, interest, fees on loans or garnishments; exchange rate; the number of loyalty points accumulated on the STAR shopping card, respectively information about the UNLIMITED package in the BT network and its extra-adoptions. The confidentiality of the information is ensured by the two codes that must be specified by the clients at the beginning of the conversation with the Raul Robot, namely the unique identification code and the one received by phone.


The Raul robot communicates online as follows:

  • By Facebook:Like the Raul page from BT → Messenger → Start →Inregistration → cif addition (details about CIF) → completing with the validation code received on the phone → asking the question in writing;
  • Via Skype: Adding to the contact list → Start →Inregistration → completing the CIF → completing with the validation code received on the phone → asking the question in writing.


This is the second chatbot of Transilvania Bank, the first being Livia,dedicated to communicating with individual clients. On average, Livia Robot offered 250,000 responses/month this year to the bank's and BT Direct's customers. Both launches represent firsts in the communication of banks in Romania and are a step forward for offering positive customer experiences.
