Statements:

Sergiu Mircea, Executive Director Marketing and Communication, Banca Transilvania:

"We are excited to launch our first program with the Bucharest Community Foundation and look forward to seeing the applications. NGOs, volunteering and entrepreneurs make a major contribution to the development of the community fabric - be it the street we live on, the neighbourhood, the city or the country. We need to build this community fabric, which increases solidarity between people. Shared values hold us together and define us as a community. This is a starting project, which we hope will help us to define common values in the neighbourhoods of Bucharest".

Alina Kasprovschi, Executive Director, Bucharest Community Foundation:

"Through thick and thin, the local community, the neighbors in the neighborhood can be the ones who move things for the better. We focus on neighbourhoods because one of the strategic directions of the Foundation's involvement is to increase the sense of belonging to the local community. We are particularly excited to align ourselves with Banca Transilvania and to launch together the Inclusive in Neighbourhoods programme, where we look for projects from people with initiative right in the neighbourhoods."
